Penny grinned. "Perhaps some sort of exchange then?" she suggested. "You can tell me a tale and I can tell you one?" That would allow her see what Jessica put worth and would at least know where she stood.
She deplored lying but that didn't mean she had to offer up her least flattering stories…
"All right. We can be kind. It is the Hufflepuff way," Penny said with a smile.
Standing, she made her way to the door and lead the way to Honeydukes. Once inside, it was Penny's turn to smile and practically bounce with girlish enthusiasm. "This is the place that has found memories for me." With no shame, she took a basket and begin to fill it with a wide variety of candy including a score of acid pops.
"There was one day I had so many of these…third year, I think it was…that I didn't have a tongue for an entire day. Professor McGonagall thought I was being fresh when I would answer her in class," Penny said, regaling Jessica with the tale.
