"Really?" Katie was giddy. "Me too! I want to play for them so bad. Maybe it's from Quidditch being so boy-centric but I'd love to play for a girls only team. Gwenog is so great. She flies so well and her awareness of the whole pitch is amazing." She grinned. "Besides, she is really hot."
"Yeah, not a problem in my house," Katie admitted, still grinning. "Though, honestly, I am not sure if it is better or worse because of…who they want to talk about." She didn't want to offend Lucy but sex with boys was a turn off for Katie and wasn't too wild about talking about it. "So, I talk to girls who are like me a lot more." Katie smirked. "That seems to span all houses now," she mused.
It was pretty clear, even if she hadn't heard, that Lucy fancied girls. So, Katie felt pretty safe talking about things with her. She was part of the club, after all. Wait, didn't Heidi hook up with her a few times. She had, Katie suddenly remembered.
Katie shrugged. "Not everything is fair. Plus, I need to feel a strong attraction to someone and that's hard for me to find." She paused. "I'm not calling Ginny a slag, I would never do that. I'm just saying that she feels that draw more often than I do. Plus, she is hotter than me." She shrugged again. "That's okay, it's just the way it is."
She saw Lucy chewing her lips. Merlin, she was so cute and sexy. She was so open and pretty and that was very appealing. Willing to take a little risk, Katie reached for Lucy's arm. "Here." Lightly, she took it and started to roll up her sleeve. "Let me demonstrate a little trick I learned?"
