"Really?" Katie smiled brightly. Maybe they did have something in common! "Do you have a favorite team? Player?"
"That is too bad." For Katie, it had been a flood of attention; some real, some not. Her and Ginny certainly hadn't slowed down. Then there was Fleur and Lavender had flirted with her though nothing had really come of it. Then there was Tracey which had been almost-real. "I doubt you will too. You don't seem like a prude," she teased.
Katie laughed. "Well, Ginny has always taken a little more advantage of it than I have," she told Lucy. It just seemed weird to keep referring to Ginny in the third person. "A lot of people are attracted to her so she tends to get more opportunity," she mused, her tone hinting at no bitterness about the imbalance of the situation.
"Yeah." She swallowed. Katie had no doubt that Lucy was propositioning her. However, it was so fun to flirt. Plus, she wasn't really good at this and didn't want to be wrong. "Well, if we had to…demonstrate some things…for the purpose of the essay, I guess it wouldn't be theoretical anymore, right?"
"Well, the terminology might be wrong but that's all right." Katie giggled as she considered something. "Wouldn't it be funny if Fleur gave it back to us with corrections on terms and stuff?"
