Katie smiled proudly. Not knowing about Lavender, she assumed that it was because Fleur liked something about her team! Was it her? Was it the team? It wasn’t Ginny, she and Fleur were not fond of each other to say the least. Was it Harry? Katie’s mind was spinning but it still made her incredibly proud. “I am glad you are cheering for us, Professor. I hope you’ll be cheering for us when we win the cup,” she said confidently, Fleur’s comments inspiring it in her.
Was she still playing with her tie? Katie looked down briefly to see that she was. She dropped her tie like it was a hot potato. Nodding, she tried to think about what to say but instead her mind was filled with images of Gryffindor and winning the cup with Fleur smiling at them from the stands…
“Oh!” Katie exclaimed, shaking off the fantasy. “They are. It’d be nice to be able to see some good memories too.” She gasped. “Not anything dirty!” Katie suddenly blurted out. Why did she say that? Katie’s cheeks got very red again.
“I meant…normal ones. My first Quidditch Cup, that sort of thing…” Now Katie was thinking about reliving her first time with Ginny. She needed to stop being so distracted!
