That accent! Katie had to fight not to melt. The only way she could manage it was to not look up from her shoes. Taking her tie in right hand, she fiddled with it nervously. “I was hoping that I might be able to…” To what? That perfume… Katie shook her head. “Sorry…”
“I was hoping I might be able to do a little extra credit for your class,” Katie told her, folding her tie in her hands and unfolding it. “I think I have been doing all right grade wise but the race for the Quidditch Cup is really tight this year and I have a lot to do as Gryffindor Captain.”
“I had a topic in mind. Something that might be fun and…I like Charms so it might come in handy if I don’t end up being drafted by one of the Quidditch teams after I graduate.”
Still fidgeting, Katie shifted from foot to foot as she waited for Fleur to respond. She felt tremendous pressure to get Fleur to agree with all that hung in the balance.
