“I didn’t do anything to her!” Ginny screamed angrily. “I only hexed her for being a lying, manipulative bitch!” Her eyes were wide and angry and she reached down to discover her wand wasn’t even there; she had left it in her robe.
“Heidi!” Katie admonished before whipping around on Ginny. “You too. Knock it off. It isn’t helping!” She turned back to Heidi. “You know better than that. Ginny wouldn’t do something like that to anyone.” The magic needed to do something like that was dark, to say the least.
Ginny huffed. She knew they both could lose there tempers. “It’s all right,” she assured her friend, giving her a lopsided grin that took a lot of effort to create. “If I did what you think, you can ball me out after the Pensive all you want,” she joked, trying to lighten the mood.
“She’s right though,” Katie added. “How do we get to the Pensive?”
