Ginny felt a surge of anger. “That is cheap,” she hissed. Ginny would never do anything like that. She thought Heidi knew that. Maybe she wasn’t her friend and all. “And if you think that, you can shove it up your arse and get out of here.”
“Ginny,” Katie said a little more firmly, pulling her lightly she stepped between her and Heidi. Since it wasn’t one sided, she added, “Heidi, that isn’t helping and I know you don’t think that.”
It hurt both Katie and Ginny to be spoken of like that. However, Katie was the only one that realized this was just something that was spiraling out of control. Ginny, behind her, barely restrained herself from stepping back in Heidi’s face.
“What if…no one is lying?” Katie suggested. She was desperate, grasping at straws, but none of this made any sense. “What if…we used a Pensive? You can see my memory of it?” Katie suggested. “Dumbledore has one. We’d just…need to get to it.” Of course, that was easier said than done.
