Katie flinched and frowned at Heidi’s cold tone. She looked down at her feet for a moment to compose herself before lifting her head. She looked at Heidi and listened to what she had to say.
Meanwhile, Ginny dutifully ignored Heidi as she began to take off her dirty robe. Katie looked over and frowned hoping that Ginny would join in on the conversation. Sadly, it seemed her girlfriend wasn’t willing to.
Katie sighed. “We didn’t. We both told you the truth.” She still really didn’t understand Ginny’s reaction to it completely so she left that part out. Katie felt terribly guilty for all the trouble she had caused.
“I didn’t mean for it…to be this. But Tracey came to me and told me that you and she had decided that you were going to be able to…play around with some other people and that she’d always liked me and wanted me to do that with her,” Katie explained.
“I don’t know why she said that if it wasn’t true and I’m really sorry,” Katie said, hanging her head in guilt.
“Megan and Tracey are lying. I’m sorry to say it but they are. I don’t know why. You’re one of my best friends, Heidi. I would never do that to you!” Katie exclaimed imploring her forgiveness.
