"It would be much easier," Penny responded wistfully.
Penny was both worried and happy when it appeared that Jessica wasn't planning to leave. Things were already moving quickly, for her anyways, and she didn't want them to move too quickly.
"Thank you so much," she said graciously as she took the documents and set them on the desk. "Please let me walk you out."
Her heart was pounding by the time she got to the front door. Penny stopped and folded her arms in front of her instinctively. "Please, call me Penny," she told Jessica in a soft tone.
Slowly, she opened the door for her guest. "The pleasure was all mine. Thank you so much for coming." Penny looked at Jessica as she held the door for her.
