"We did throw the best parties, at least while I was there," Penny stated proudly. "A lot of my house were great hosts. The Head Girl my fourth year threw the best parties; a perfect mix of fun with just a hint of trouble."
"I went to a few Slytherin ones. My best friend enjoyed them more than I did, so she usually insisted we go. I had fun at a few though, don't get me wrong."
Penny shrugged and shifted in her seat. "It is a bit more than that. It's hard to explain."
She was truly touched by Jessica's words. "Thanks," Penny replied, showing the first hint of being shy. "That is very kind of you."
"My last relationship, they were a bit younger than me and didn't really want to be tied down," Penny said before she really thought about it. "I think the glamour of my life matched theirs but the other aspects of my life felt constricting."
Penny frowned. "It's too bad because Orla got a little attached..."
