“We should get back,” Julia announced. Finishing her own pudding, she slid the cup away and got to her feet. “Even I don’t have a pass that would allow me to get caught out of my room this late.” She grinned at Claire.
Taking Claire’s hands, she pulled her to her feet. Lightly, she pressed her lips to Claire’s before deepening the kiss. Her arms slid around her back and Julia pressed up against the taller girl as her tongue caressed Claire’s.
Reluctantly, she broke the kiss. “Good night,” she whispered. “I can’t wait for our date…”
Pulling away, she started to make her way out of the kitchens before making her way to Ravenclaw Tower.
