Padma wondered if her professor's question was sincere or not. Dumbledore had been sacked over the matter when Umbridge had been about. Maybe she just didn't get the reference? "Dumbledore's Army," she explained, watching the young woman for a reaction. "It was the group Harry Potter formed to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts when Umbridge stopped teaching us anything in class."
"All of us, pretty much, were also seeing it as a way to oppose He-who-must-not-be-named," Padma added as she kept her gaze fixed on Professor Sinistra. "We knew that Harry was involved in what others were doing against Him but I don't really think any of the rest of the DA got involved beyond Hermione and the Weasleys."
Graciously, she took the tea and sipped at it before grabbing some sweet pastry for herself.
