When Professor Sinistra stepped outside, Padma glanced over at the tray. She was impressed by the wide variety of things there. Didn't she say she was just making tea? Her stomach rumbled. Meals were really too tense and stressful to eat at for Padma with how the school was being run.
"Yes, Professor," Padma answered dutifully. She quickly turned her attention back to the telescope to plot out more stars. The closeness of her teacher threatened to distract her but Padma did her best not to let it.
Writing down one more, Padma pulled away to walk over to the tray. She poured a cup for Professor Sinistra than one for herself. Talking a few figs, she took a bite.
