She took her time, letting Padma get herself going on the assignment. She managed a bit of marzipan from a trip to Germany and some figs from Greece. There was cheese from France and some nice Irish crackers to go with it. She put out some shortbread from her grandmother in Scotland as well to round things out. The tea was added, a Japanese blend she'd picked up last fall.
When she was finally done it was a full ten minutes later. She'd decided at the last minute to add a bit of sausage from Spain, a lovely smoked meat. Maybe the girl would like a bit of that as well. Seeing that things were set, she slipped out on the deck with Padma, rubbing her arms briskly and regretting that she hadn't brought out a cloak.
"Are you finding things alright," she asked as she stepped closer, glancing over the girl's shoulder.
