Hearing the door open, Jean assumed it was Professor McCoy returning. She was wrong. A plate of food was set on the desk near her, causing her to peel her eyes away from the computer screen for all of a second. Breathing a sigh, she put on hold her work to swivel the chair and face Rogue. She was a little hungry, now that she thought about it.
"Yes, there is. Your power only seems to work through skin to skin contact. That means that contact with your hair, teeth, nails, etc. would be safe."
To demonstrate her point, Jean reached out and ran her hand over the lowest part of Rogue's brown hair. Nothing happened...but then she had never touched any skin. It was a step forward, at least, since understanding the problem was the first step to solving it.
"Obviously you are immune to your own powers...which means that you are your own antidote. An infusion of your DNA and near constant physical contact should trick your body into accepting someone else as being you and thus...not...zapable. I think...I still need to run some tests."
