Shrugging, Tracey understood what she was saying. There were lots of things where she found it hard, if not impossible, to pay attention to the salient details. Potions and herbology were the only ones where she really excelled, because they interested her so much.
Moving towards the door, Tracey wasn’t sure how much she should say. She’d been trying to adapt one of her potions to turn in for the assignment; what better way to earn a top grade than inventing a potion. Pausing, Tracey waited until they were in the corridor to speak again.
“I have picked one. Actually,” Tracey lowered her voice. “I am likely going to turn in one that I created.” She looked to Heidi to see how she might respond to that.
“If you need help,” Tracey began. “I might be able to help you out. I’ve done a little tutoring in the past.” Normally, Heidi would have been someone who she gouged for her help. But, having no friends, she was considering that doing that might be pretty unwise.
