Nodding, Tracey paused as Heidi mentioned lust. Her eyebrow went up slightly at her choice of words. She had to admit a curiosity about what she might mean sparked in Tracey’s mind. Sadly, Heidi did not elaborate. “Lust?” she inquired, still looking down and unwilling to let the subject merely drop.
Shrugging, Tracey wasn’t about to admit her own weakness regardless of the subject. “I suppose.” Despite her dismissive response, Tracey knew she was one of the worst flyers in the school; second only perhaps to Hermione Granger.
“It is a difficult sensation to get used to. If you are too overzealous, you can burn your hand,” Tracey commented. She had a few burns herself from doing that very thing. “But, it can be very useful to use in some potions. Especially when you want the powder not to linger long, like in this one, before it dissolves.”
