Once she finished slicing the beans, Heidi, gathered them in a neat pile and set her knife down, surveying Tracey's focused face as she moved on to the next part. The other girl really was very pretty. Heidi blushed faintly.
"Lucky." Heidi spoke, fidgeting, not sure what to do next. She knew what was on the board, but Tracey had already changed one thing and she didn't want to do something different than her. "Mine always seem to end with explosions or foul smells."
She admired Tracey for her skills and the fact that she could brew them up just for fun. Sometimes in moments that would dissappear if you blinked, Heidi imagined what it would be like to trade her quidditch skills for scholarly ones.
"So, what can I do now?" she still didn't want to actively interrupt Tracey's flow of potion making. Giving a shy smile, the Hufflepuff held up her hands, "I'm here to assist."
