Heidi gave a small smile and nodded. She was as ready as she'd ever be. She took a blade, an instrument that no matter how many times she used it, it would still feel foreign to her, and prepared to cut the beans as instructed when Tracey told her otherwise.
She lifted a questioning eyebrow, she wasn't one to use her own instructions when doing a potion, but seeing as how Tracey knew much more than she did, she didn't question her.
Mirroring what the Slytherin girl was doing, Heidi began to cut as she did, long and thin strips from her vantage point, hoping it was correct.
"You know more than the normal student does about potions don't you?" Heidi observed in her calm, even tone. She didn't want to pry, she hated when people did it to her, but couldn't help but wonder how Tracey became just so astute when it came to potion brewing.
