"What is the next step towards corrupting me fully, Professor?" Lavender mused coyly.
Lavender watched Fleur carefully but she couldn't see anything that led her to believe that Fleur was upset by it at all. She kept watching but it seemed like she really didn't have a problem with it.
"No, no," Lavender assured her. "I don't want anything without you." Her voice was panicked by the mere idea of such a thing. "I love you and I always want to be with you. Always." Her eyes got glassy as she spoke.
"I was just thinking of a singleā¦thing. Something that was just mine and I could tell you about when we were reminiscing when we are old and gross and sitting in rocking chairs, watching the runway shows on the tele and petting our cats." She giggled at the idea.
"I don't know what it is. Maybe trying to get an invite to one of those legendry Slytherin parties orā¦something." Lavender shrugged. In truth, she had an idea leading the way but she didn't want to tell Fleur. It was a white lie in her mind since she was telling it so Fleur could be spared the details if she wanted to be.
