Lavender was suddenly afraid of her own idea and was beginning to regret bringing it up at all. She followed Fleur into the office and smiled as she got a wine glass. “Remember when you wouldn’t let me have wine?” she teased lightly. “Didn’t want to corrupt a student, as I recall.” The thought was laughable now compared to the other things she did with her professor.
She took a big sip of her wine as she sat down and hoped it would calm her nerves but didn’t. “This is a bad idea,” Lavender chuckled nervously. “Just forget it. Never mind.”
“How has your day been?” she asked, trying to change the subject.
