Draco chuckled. He’d been caught. That was the problem with hyperbole. It was easy to shoot holes in. Since he was dancing, figuratively anyways, with Millicent he should have chosen his words more carefully. “You know what I meant,” Draco said with mild exasperation trying to shift the blame for the statement to her and not where it properly rested.
He was subtle as he watched her but wasn’t so subtle she wouldn’t notice a glance or two. Draco had to admit that Millicent had come a long way; more so than he had even thought before. “Do you often strip to your knickers in front of others?” he teased her, hoping to set her off balance.
Draco was somewhat exasperated that he hadn’t caught a glimpse of said knickers. Being a little bolder, not happy that she was so unflappable, Draco turned to look at her. The boxers he wore hinted at what he might be hiding underneath with the faintest outline at the front.
