Draco laughed. Draco Malfoy chased no one. “You think you would be so indispensible to my families’ party that I should make an effort to unravel the mystery of Millicent Bulstrode?” he accused.
“That is wonderful.” He repeated the same line because he couldn’t think of anything else. Miles was surely moving in. Millicent had been ignored by boys for so long that now she would be fun to toy with. Miles could screw that up for him. But, what to do about it?
“Sweet?” He scoffed. “I didn’t think that was what a proper witch wanted in a man?” Draco’s smile was superior as he waited for Millicent to respond.
“Hardly.” Draco couldn’t help but grin as Millicent’s quip. “I was just making an observation is all. As Prefect and as we are both members of the Inquisitorial Squad we have an example to set. Don’t you think?”
