Sara caught the hurt in Tracey's features and instantly felt bad. "I wish I did know what to do now." she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want this to be the end of us. Our knowing each other, even if it's the end of the...sexual part of it. I don't want to lose you. I've lost you enough already."
Putting all she had into the kiss, Sara tried to take every little detail about kissing Tracey into her memory. It was something she never wanted to forget.
Finally, she had to break it to breath. Resting her forehead on Tracey, it seemed a long time before she spoke. "I should go."
It was a few more minutes before she finally worked up the strength to separate herself from Tracey to stand and straighten her clothes. She looked to Tracey one last time. "I hope we can see each other again...as friends." she said with a small, sad smile before exiting.
