Tracey could tell that Sara was trying to decide if she should go through with her offer. She didn’t blame Sara if she didn’t want to but it still hurt that she wouldn’t. In fact, even the pause hurt a little.
It just showed her why it never would have worked…
“The potion only lowers inhibitions,” Tracey told her despite knowing it would hint to her own motivations with Sara during the game. “It doesn’t create anything that isn’t there.” She gave Sara a weak smile as she walked slowly towards her room. “Have they been into each other for a while?” she asked, though Sara likely didn’t know considering how private a person she was.
“How are you doing?” she asked softly, with genuine concern as she took slow steps not really wanting to arrive at her room.
