"Thanks," Tracey said with a bemused grin. It wasn't exactly high praise but at least she wasn't attacking her.
Tracey was shocked when Sara offered to walk her back. What if someone saw them? She took a long time to answer. "That would beā¦nice." It was unlikely anyone would see them. It was only a few doors down after all.
Chuckling, glad for the break in the tension, Tracey agreed with a nod. Getting up, Tracey smiled at Julia and Claire. "Have fun you two," she said with a wave. Julia was already climbing atop Claire as she made her way out of the room.
Once out in the hall, she waited for Sara. Once she joined her, she asked, "They seem pretty into each other, huh?" It seemed like a safe subject. But, she had to wonder if Sara knew that she used to have a little thing for Julia when she started to realize she fancied girls.
