Jules nodded. Not everyone could trace their lineage like she could. Really, she didn't think that was a bad thing. She didn't look down on others for it, she just had pride in her own.
When Claire tucked her hair back, Julia's breath hitched. Her teeth lightly took her lower lip. She found that she was holding her breath as Claire tilted her chin up. Her lips parted slightly as their lips brushed.
She let Claire continue to kiss her softly. When the pressure receded, Jules smiled. "That was unexpected," she breathed blissfully. "I wasn't exactly expecting romance based on the party I was invited to." Jules laughed softly before placing a peck.
