"You hide them well, if they exist at all," Jules complimented her. "Though, it's hard to be a warrior with no scars. It either means you are a true master, unequaled by any with the luck of the entire nation of Ireland or you are a dilettante, a pretender."
The unguarded and sincere observation made Jules smile. "That is nice to hear," she murmured softly.
"Am I the first girl to ever hear you say it…like that?" she wondered aloud, not sure she would get an answer.
