“You’re worth it,” Megan quipped before lightly nudging Hannah with her hip.
Contemplating how things had gone thus far, Megan found the whole “date thing” to be a piece of cake! What had she been so worried about? Why did every bloke in bird in their teens get their knickers in a twist about this? It was easy!
Seeing Hannah happily continue on towards Madame Puddifoot’s only reinforced Megan’s feelings of triumph.
Stepping inside, she noticed it was the same quaint and cute atmosphere it had been on Valentine’s Day but without the millions of hearts and zooming cupids. Walking over a table, she noticed that there wasn’t a single one that sat more than two people.
Picking one at random, Megan sat down and looked about. It was packed! The waitress came over and gave the two girls a slightly odd look before looking to take their order. “I’ll have a Venti Chocolate Latte with extra foam,” Megan ordered.
Turning to Hannah, she asked, “Want to split a dessert? Cake or something?”
