Megan blinked as Hannah put so few things in the basket. “That’s it? You remember this needs to last at least a month. I don’t think they’ve even scheduled the next Hogsmeade weekend yet. Have they?”
“Oooh…blood pears!” Megan pulled Hannah long after her as she went to get herself some.
Unlike the quill store, people weren’t casting disparaging gazes or words at either of them. Megan saw a couple people from Hufflepuff giggling but it seemed in good fun and not meant to be derogatory. Megan waved at their housemates as she pulled Hannah through the store.
“Ready to check out?” Megan brought the basket up and paid for her huge haul. She was glad she borrowed that money from Claire! Asking for the package to be delivered, Megan didn’t want to carry it around all day.
Still holding Hannah’s hand, she led her through the small village to Madame Puddifoots. It wasn’t Valentine’s Day but it was still place for couples to go. Looking to Hannah, Megan looked to see if there was any negative reaction to the proposed destination.
