How had this conversation become so awkward? Tracey shifted about a little as Heidi explained. At first, she felt a little disappointed that Heidi was only talking about breaks and such. Then it got a little scary when she wasn’t. She smiled at her girlfriend and nodded. “Okay, I’ll pen my mum that I won’t be home until summer.”
“You do?” Tracey was a little shocked, having prepared herself for not quite as enthusiastic a response. “That doesn’t….scare you a little?”
“I also imagined you…if you didn’t come back for your seventh year,” Tracey began, seemingly a little sad by the thought, “you living in Hogsmeade and me sneaking down to your flat when I could and such.”
“I never get bored watching you play,” Tracey assured her with a loving smile and a gentle caress. “That sounds heavenly.”
