Tracey frowned and furrowed her brow. “There are people who are afraid of me,” she muttered with no real malice.
She watched Heidi closely as soft moans came from the bed. “She can’t hear us if we speak softly. I bathed this side of the curtain in an elixir that acts as a one-way privacy charm. Like an invisibility cloak for sound if the sound is soft.”
Heidi’s expression of love was what Tracey desperately needed to hear in that moment. “Seeing Katie and Ginny was so…” She blew out a breath, she couldn’t even describe it. “I do want to, I’m just a little nervous is all. Plus, I think it will be good for me too,” she added mysteriously.
“I can’t see this as being a…regular thing. But, if we both like it, I wouldn’t be opposed to it if you can always show me that…I’m the only one you love,” Tracey told her, feeling quite vulnerable in that moment.
Gently, she guided Heidi out from behind the curtain. Slipping under the sheet by the mystery girl’s feet, Tracey held it up for Heidi. Though she couldn’t see the girl’s face, the pale legs and freckles should have seemed familiar.
A little higher, a petite hand covered a trimmed patch of red curls while a single finger lightly teased the wet folds there.
