Elizabeth was possible a total opposite of Snape, in regards to how they viewed their students. Elizabeth only got mildly annoyed with them, but did really care that they did well, that is, if they cared. She chose not to comment directly on Snape's snide remark.
"Well, I was just...showing her some methods and discussing extra credit." She mused, the irony that, in a very different way that the way she meant in the comment, what she said was completely true.
"Oh?" she inquired, wondering what Snape would need to consult with her about. She knew she didn't have a choice in the matter of going with him. "Of course I'll accompany you. I know how dreary rounds can be."
Turning to Megan, she spoke again. "Perhaps we can finish our...discussion at another time, Miss Jones? I don't want to deny you your extra credit."
