Professor Snape sighed in annoyed disgust as he approached the office door of his fellow faculty member. The Unbreakable Vow he had taken weighed heavily upon his mind and cast a dark shadow of all that was to come.
He had rounds that night. "I hate rounds with every fiber of my being," he muttered in his slow, snooty drawl he normally spoke in. He planned to occupy some of that time in consultation with one of his fellow Professors.
Arriving at Professor Vector's door, Snape knocked. There was no sound beyond the door but even the suspicious, paranoid Head of Slytherin wasn't shocked that a teacher had privacy charms on her door when she was not teaching.
