"No, no." Hannah was quick to answer. "It's just..." she bit her lip yet again. "I'm just jealous, I guess. Of all the other boys and girls who catch your attention."
At Megan's equally cold reply, Hannah shot her a glare. "Well excuse me for not being as confident and outgoing as you or all the people you 'win over'. I'm sorry I'm a bit shy around a girl I like, rather than just grinning like a fool and putting it all out there."
Hearing Megan confess about never having been on a real date before made Hannah want to turn around and smile and agree right then and there, but she was still afraid that Megan may just be doing all this out of pity and they'd just go on one or two dates before Megan went back to her sleeping around.
Chewing on her lip in contemplation for a few moments, Hannah finally decided. Shifting a bit so she could turn her head to look at Megan over her shoulder, she regarded the girl for a few minute before smiling softly. "Okay." she said quietly. "If you really mean it, I'd love to go on a date with you, Megan."
