Hannah bit her lip. To be honest, she didn't really know what Megan felt about her flings, but whatever connection she had with them, it wasn't like the kind Hannah wanted. "I have a crush on you because you're pretty and charming and funny and sweet, despite your teasing."
Shocked at Megan's confession, Hannah didn't know how to take it. A part of her was giddy, another part didn't know if she should believe the other girl. "Not any more than anyone else. Only when I caught you breaking the rules and you'd tease and charm a bit to get out of trouble because you know I'll always let you off the hook." She continued to chew on her lip. "I showed interest, you just never noticed. No one can make me blush and stammer like a fool like you do. I never showed any overt interest because I was afraid you'd take me up and then just act like I was another fling like what's happening right now."
"Well, maybe if you had stopped chasing girls and guys long enough to notice me, the girl who was always there when you needed it, You'd know much more." Hannah said a bit coldly.
Blushing as Megan finally made the move Hannah had waited three years for, any other time she would have jumped at the chance. Now she was cautious. "Don't ask me out just because you feel guilty." Hannah warned. "Or because You expect me to put out after a few dates."
