"Do you honestly think that little of me?" Megan asked, clearly hurt. "Why did you have a crush on me if you think…I am actually like that?" Sure, not everyone was the love of her life and some of the things Hannah said was true, but not all of it. "There were some that weren't special, boys or girls but that's because there was nothing there. But there were ones that were special and it wasn't only because it felt good at the time. There was always some…connection." She didn't want to get into specifics, fearing Hannah wouldn't take it well.
"I paid attention to you, a lot," Megan refuted. "I…had a crush on you too. Pretty bad, at points. But, I never thought you were interested. I mean, you never showed any interest. Even right up until you ended up in my lap in the closet." She chuckled, hoping to break the tension.
"Come on, Han," Megan whispered, nudging Hannah lightly. "I really like little miss goody goody perfect prefect Hannah Abbott. I like that girl a lot. She is really cute and funny. I just never knew what else is there." She chewed her lower lip.
"Maybe I could get to know her if…you asked me out on that date?" Megan suggested, despite how nervous she was about the idea.
