Tracey swatted Heidi's shoulder, though she laughed happily. The tension from earlier was draining away. "You are terrible!"
She frowned. "She didn't seem too happy that you were there with me. Was it…something special for you guys? Or…was she just…that angry you were there with me?" She chewed her bottom lip. "Katie…she still hasn't forgiven me either." That seemed to hurt Tracey. If she thought anyone would forgive her, it would have been Katie.
Tracey took the cookie and cracked it open. "You deserve nothing but the best," she read the fortune aloud. She kept her expression perfectly schooled. "What does yours say?"
