Heidi knew what her two best friends thought were on the subject of Tracey Davis. But they didn't really know Tracey. Heidi did. Maybe she was blinded by her love for the girl but that didn't matter. All she wanted was Tracey at the moment.
Watching Tracey practically run out the door with the food, Heidi quickly stood. Hearing Ginny try to coax her into abandoning Tracey, Heidi shook her head and answered. "No. I know what she did but it doesn't matter. We're starting something new and I want us to have a second chance. I don't want to mess it up."
Making to move past Ginny and Katie, she placed a friendly hand in Katie's shoulder. "It was good to see you two, but I need to go now. I'll see you at the next practice." with that she turned to exit the store, but not without a last look to Ginny, signaling the girl that they would discuss the redhead's behavior towards Tracey later.
Making her way outside, she saw Tracey and quickly made her way to her. "Hey." she said softly, placing a comforting hand on the blonde's lower back. "I'm sorry about that."
"Here, let me carry that." Heidi said, her voice still soft as she took the bag of food from Tracey.
