"No." Heidi chuckled softly and dared to reach out and lightly finger the ends of Tracey's hair. "I love your hair."
As they walked, Heidi was very aware of Tracey's hand. Even something at small and simple as that made Heidi warm inside. Maybe Tracey really did still have feelings for her and was willing to really give this a go after all.
"Hey, I'm the one that's supposed to be holding the doors." Heidi chuckled as she walked into the restaurant.
"I don't know." Heidi shrugged as she looked up at the menu on the wall. "I usually get their general tso chicken, fried rice and an egg roll, but everything's really good here."
Letting the silence fall as they both decided on what to get, Heidi couldn't help but feel that this was right. Them together. It felt right.
