Tracey laughed right along with Sara. "It is," she agreed. "Do you think she would have done that thing with her nose? When she wrinkles it up?" Tracey always thought she looked like a pig, kind of, when Pansy did that. "Or do you think she would have just needed to pick her chin up off the ground?"
"I love you too, Sara," Tracey responded, trying to fend off any sadness she felt as well as any thoughts of Heidi. Pulling herself up to Sara, she drifted off to sleep.
When she awoke the next morning to find the note, on the hotel's stationary, Tracey took her time and read it very carefully. Then she reread it. Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks and one fell to smudge the ink. Carefully, she tucked it away and picked up the beautiful watch.
The very Slytherin feel of it, silver and emeralds, made her smile and brought her thoughts back to their days at Hogwarts. Gently, almost reverently, she donned the watch.
Gathering her clothes, she took only the watch and note with her and couldn't bear to even look around the room a last time before she left.
