Tracey nodded. "I…don't know why. After all I did, I was sure she hated me and…" She trailed off and shrugged. Tracey still had feelings for Heidi. There was no use in denying it. However, she had feelings for Sara no matter how she tried to deny that.
She felt sorry for Sara. "What can I do?" Tracey whispered. Holding onto her tight, Tracey rubbed Sara's back, trying to soothe her. "You aren't like that. You…got stuck in a situation she didn't know how to get out of." Tracey knew that feeling well.
It broke her heart that Sara told her that she couldn't be more to her. Part of her was angry, though. Tracey had sacrificed so much for her, yet Sara couldn't even give her just a little of what she wanted.
