Tracey paced her apartment anxiously. Her heart hammered so loudly that it was the only thing she could concentrate on. It felt like it had been forever. She was just about to give up when an owl was suddenly at her window.
Her pounding heart didn’t ease at all as she took the note and read it. Her mouth got dry and she stared at it for a long time. Part of her had expected that Sara wouldn’t respond. After all, she hadn’t the last few times.
The owl lightly nipped at her finger. “Ouch!” She glared at it a moment before getting it a treat. “No message back. Thank you.” She fed the owl a treat and it flew off.
Getting dressed in elegant robes, she hid a Muggle outfit beneath. She knew that it set Sara off in a way that made her randy. Her black velvet robes with silver trim swooshed at her feet as she made her way to the floo.
Using the address, she quickly donned the invisibility cloak Sara gave her as she made her way to the beautiful hotel. It was a place she could never afford to stay on her own. She often wondered why Sara selected only the most lavish places for their rendezvous.
Arriving at room 1507, Tracey knocked lightly upon the door still hidden beneath the cloak.
