Alex couldn't help but laugh. "You're silly, but I like it." But she liked it more because she had a small glimpse of a harder edge to the smaller blonde back at the restaurant. There was something about Kat's charm and obvious attractiveness that drew Alex in despite the fact that she knew Kat was a dealer. Alex had dated users before and recreationally used drugs herself, but never dated dealers. That was dangerous. It was common sense.
With Kat being the smaller of the two, Alex tucked in behind her as the blonde ordered their drinks, preventing her from being bumped or jostled. She gratefully accepted her drink from Kat, "Thanks." While not her favorite, Alex was still a fan of Vodka Collins. She was more of a Black Russian kind of girl.
In the wake of low lighting, the seclusion of the bench, and all the signals she was getting from Kat, Alex was feeling more than a little confident in where this was going, even before the alcohol kicked in for liquid courage. "I've barely known you five minutes and I already think you're trying to seduce me."
Not that Alex was complaining, especially by the grin on her face. She had ever intent of coming to the club tonight to listen to the music, relax, and go home alone.
