"No." Heidi answered again truthfully. Even high, Heidi still had some charm. But always in her mind she tried to pretend that the girls were Tracey. BUt none of them lived up to that standard. They never came anywhere close.
A part of Heidi, the small, sober part, was ashamed, knowing that what Tracey said was true. But the overbearing trashed part overwhelmed it. "Oh, so it's a date now? You're allowing yourself to call it a date? I would have thought after all the lying you've told people about us and 'dating', you wouldn't even be able to call something a date anymore!" Heidi rambled, making little sense even to herself.
"We're not together! You don't have a right to tell me what's wrong or proper after all the shite that you've put me through!" what had spawned this binge in the first place was Ginny reminding Heidi of everything that Tracey had done to her and Heidi was seeking some flawed vengeance.
