Tracey was still stewing about Heidi's situation. It was yet another thing happening around her that she felt completely impotent to change. Tracey hated her job because it made her feel that way along with totally insignificant. If she didn't come to work for a month, she was sure no one would even notice.
Suddenly, Heidi had her in checkmate. "What the bloody hell?" she muttered in exasperation. Impotent yet again. Tracey sighed in disgust. Cleary taking the loss very poorly. She clenched her fists in frustration and steamed.
It took all her self control not to sweep the pieces off the board and scatter them across the room.
