"Not dumb, just ignorant," Tracey refuted. "It is a real move. Look it up." Heidi could look in a million chess books and never find it but Tracey wasn't willing to give up the joke just yet. "Though you messed up the second move of it," she added, gesturing to the board.
Tracey scowled. "Well, that's not fair." What did it mean for the future? Would Heidi have to take another one when she came back? Tracey hoped not since she was sure she was still using; it was pretty obvious.
Distracted, Tracey didn't notice Heidi's sly strategy. Continuing with her strategy, she thought she was two moves away from another check on Heidi's queen.
