"Well, I'm glad you do." Heidi said, taking another bite. It wasn't often she got home-cooked meals. She never got them, actually. "The meals you've made me always blow anything else I've had out of the water."
Heidi looked away as she spoke. She had been looking forward to the captain position, hoping that that would give her something more to focus on, but she couldn't get her life and vices under control before losing her shot.
But Tracey's words made her smile softly, looking down at her plate.it felt nice that Tracey had that much confidence in her, even if it had been just words from the papers.
"Well, Katie will make a good one. She cares a lot about the team." Heidi knew that she would have been the better captain, but was sure Katie would be great too. Plus, it was known that the past season's victories for the Harpies were the result of Heidi's strategies that she had helped Gwenog with. "True, but i'm sure she'll do fine." Heidi said, disappointment hinting in her voice.
