Despite trying to keep up a tough exterior, Emily had never been more afraid in her life. She was going to die. Why they didn't just vape her in space was beyond her. She was almost starting to regret powering down. Would this death be as sudden? She doubted it…
Glancing up, she saw people standing over them. Who the hell were they? Why were they not prisoners? Were there humans working with the Cylons?! They had to be traitors. Her hand went to her sidearm causing the Centurions to raise their weapons menacingly.
Her fingers curled around the butt of the gun. Emily grasped it and considered shooting. She could barely hear the whir of Cylon's red eye going back and forth over her hammering heart. If she shot one of them she would be dead. Would that be a better way to die than what they had planned for her?
Finally, she slowly pulled out the weapon and tossed it aside. Ushured over to where Kitten was slumped on the ground unconscious, she looked at her fellow pilots. "Is she alive?" A few of them nodded.
"She needs a doctor," Emily told one of the Centurions. It didn't answer her or react at all. "She needs a doctor," she repeated more firmly. Still nothing. "She needs a doctor, you frakin toasters!" Emily yelled. She looked up at the humans to see if they would react.
