Who: Ginny Weasley and *gasp* Ginny Weasley!
What: The meeting of worlds
When: Ginny's 4th Year
Where: Storage Room of Hogwarts

Ginny hadn't meant to get into trouble. Indeed, she had thought Daphne Greengrass could take a hit from cup thrown at her head. How was she supposed to know the pixy would make a big deal of it? Grumbling as she she continued to dust stakes of boxes, her punishment had been to clean this storeroom that hadn't seen a living soul for...well before she was born!

It was covered by dust and...she didn't want to know what else. Most of the boxes were rotting and had mice holes in them. She didn't dare try to move them, but she was trying to make the room look clean even if it wasn't really. She had a lot of practice at getting away with not cleaning, and her mother was a far harsher taskmistress then any Professor.

As she reached the back of the room, she found herself sneezing. It made a whole stack of boxes disintegrate and fall apart. With a shriek she jumped back out of the wall. Revealed on the other side was a door! A little exploration was much more interesting then cleaning, so she pushed the door open. It was dark on the other side of the door, so she drew her wand and casted a light spell Hermione had taught her. Light emanated from her wand, illuminating a passage of mirrored walls, ceiling, and floor like a fun house.

Finding it intriguing, she ventured inside, leaving ruined boxes in the doorway to keep the door open. Down the hallway she went, till she found herself in a room. It looked like a copy of a common room, except the walls, ceiling, and floor were all mirrors. There was a fireplace, couches and chairs, tables...she even saw a mirrored staircase leading up to what she imagined was a dormroom. Hearing footsteps, she kneeled down and hid behind a couch.

How was Ginny supposed to know that the Slytherins were going to lose their shite like they had? All she'd done was pitch her mug at Draco's head. Next thing she knew she was getting chased through the halls after dinner by Parkinson and Draco and their goons.

She'd hexed Goyle into the ground when he got too close, he'd have Bat Bogeys for weeks! However, she couldn't fight them all at once. She needed somewhere to hide. Ducking into one of the cleaning closets, it clearly hadn't been used in ages!

She heard the footsteps approaching and she looked for somewhere to hide. Where could she hide? Ginny began to frantically look behind the mice eaten boxes. Finding a door, she popped it open and jumped inside the hallways she found. Pulling the boxes back to hide it, Ginny closed the door.

Drawing her wand, the tip flared into a ball of light when she whispered, "Lumos." Walking along, she discovered the halls were covered in mirrors as was the common room beyond.

"Hello?" she called out, wondering whose common room this used to be.

There was someone else there...she could hear the footsteps and see the light from some other source other then her wand. With a start, Ginny realized that she hadn't doused the light from her wand! Mouthing a curse, she couldn't believe she had been so careless. When she heard the voice, she just knew. Knew who it was even though it couldn't be possible.

"Hello back!"

Not thinking twice, she stood up and came out of hiding. Thinking this was some fun house illusion, she grinned at the other redhead in the room. It didn't look exactly like her, but she had this overwhelming sense that it was her. She was hot!

"I'm Ginny, who are you?" she asked, just to make sure.

Ginny saw a bit of bright light from behind the couch. She was shocked when a redheaded girl, who bore a striking resemblance to her brother Bill, popped out from behind the couch. She blinked.

Her brow furrowed when she said she was Ginny. She paused for a long time as she regarded someone who could have easily been her sister. "That's funny. That's what I was going to say…"

Lowering her wand, she couldn't help but wonder if one of the Slytherins was playing a trick on her. She would need to be cautious…

"What is the place?" she asked.

Her jaw dropped as her feeling was confirmed. It was herself! Just a her that looked a lot like her brother Charlie. She had always wondering what she would look like if she didn't look like Bill. Merlin knows what she would look like if she looked like the twins.

"So you're Ginny Weasley too?"

Lowering her wand as well, she didn't want to fight with herself. That would be too weird even for her, so instead she turned to look at her surroundings as well. None of the furniture looked like any she had ever seen in Hogwarts before, especially not in the Gryffindor common room.

"I have no idea. I was cleaning a old storage room as a punishment and found a door behind some boxes. Went exploring 'stead of rubbing my thumbs together cleaning the place. I heard footsteps and hid...then heard myself. Well...you. Even though we aren't the same, we are. Right?" she asked, seeking support from herself...her other self.

"Too?" What in the bloody hell did that mean? She stared at the other redhead and tried to figure out what seemed so familiar about her. It almost felt like they were long lost sisters or something. Did her dad have an affair or something and named his daughters the same thing?

Ginny's head swam as she tried to contemplate what might be happening. Was this some sort of illusion? Harry told her about the Mirror of Erised, was it something like that? It could be…

"I was running from Draco and his…cronies. I ducked into a closet and now I am…here…" Ginny looked back over her shoulder as if she might have been followed. Turning back to the other girl, she shrugged.

"I don't know…there is…something. I have no idea what though." She gave the other girl a trademark Weasley grin.

"I'm Ginny Weasley. Only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. Oh yeah...I have some brothers too."

Rolling her eyes, she showed how important her brothers were. The other her seemed to be wigging out, so Ginny helpfully reached out and pinched her arm. Why not? She wasn't real anyways.

"Eww, Draco."

Checking to see if the Slytherin skunk was here too she didn't see him. Which was good for him, for who could face two Ginny Weasleys and survive? Giving Ginny a exact same grin back, she bounced on the balls of her feet.

"Let him come. He'll be hexed so hard his whole family will feel it!"

Ginny laughed. Despite her encounter with Tom Riddle's diary, as of late she'd had a much more adventurous attitude than she used to. Besides, this wasn't like the Chamber of Secrets. The other girl didn't seem dangerous, though it was a little weird.

"Who are your bothers?" she asked, wondering if the answers would match up.

"Yeah. He can sod off and die." Draco was so annoying. Ginny couldn't stand him. "And Pansy." Her voice didn’t have the same malice as it did about Draco, though she tried to fake it.

She laughed at the pronouncement. "Yeah. Draco would being hating life if he wandered in here now." Seeing that they were both dressed in their uniforms she tried to figure out any subtle differences.

Moving to the couch, she flopped down. "How do I know you are me? Tell me something that only we would know." From the couch, she looked up and cocked her head at the other redhead.

Ginny never really considered herself to be really…pretty or anything but she had to admit the other redhead was pretty hot!

"The oldest is Bill, then there is Charlie, there are the twins George and Fred, then there is Ron. Even though he is older he is like a little brother."

Ginny laughed, Ron was so clueless, especially when it came to girls. Except...he had gotten Hermione and she hadn't. Forcing the depressing thoughts away, she found herself agreeing whole heartedly with the other Ginny.

"You have to admit though, Slytherin girls are cute," she teased.

Her other self sure asked a lot of questions. Maybe it was Hermione disguised as her? But Hermione would do a better job of looking like her...so who knows?

"I would steal Bill and Charlie's PlayWizard mags and blame it on Fred and George, then later Ron."

How was that for a secret? That was something she hadn't even told Luna. Noticing herself being checked out, she stood straighter and thrust her chest out. She was pretty cute...who said freckles weren't sexy? Taking a seat next to her double, she put her feet up on the coffee table. Why not? There was no one else here to look up her skirt.

"If I'm me and you're you and we are both Ginny Weasley...then this is wicked! I can finally be my own best friend. I call dibs on Katie though," she exclaimed excitedly, quickly adding the last part.

Ginny nodded. It wasn’t like it was a big secret that she had five brothers and that Ron could be a bit of a git. But, it showed that, whatever this was, they were similar. Assuming it wasn't a ruse of some type…

She cocked an eyebrow at "Ginny" beginning to wonder again if it might be a ruse. No one knew about her and other girls. What was the other girl playing at? "I guess. In that stuck up way, I suppose."

"No way! I've never told anyone that!" Yet again, her opinion on the situation shifted.

"Katie? Katie who?" Her other self's excitement was contagious and she found herself smiling.

Winking at her other self, Ginny was finding this to be so much fun! She didn't have to worry about saying anything wrong, she could just be herself...with herself. Letting out a girlish squeal at the other redhead's reaction to the secret being revealed, it cemented the fact that they were the same person.

"Told you I was me. Or you. Whatever. Katie as in Katie Bell, our girlfriend. The one who shags us rotten nearly every night? How could you ever forget Katie?"

Ginny found her cheeks glowing a bit red. She had thought about a few of the Slytherin girls, it was true. Ginny had spent more than a few nights thinking of what it would be like to have Pansy in the bed with her. “And who do we think about?” she inquired with a sly smile.

“Katie Bell? Our girlfriend?” That was something different. Very different. “My…I’ve been dating Cho Chang for a while now. Not many people know about it though. But we aren’t exclusive, really.”

“I’ve never done anything with Katie.” Though, now that the seed had been planted, Ginny found the idea really appealing.

"Who do we not think about?", she answered back cheekily.

Giving the other Ginny a 'the cat who ate the canary' look, she was grinning ear to ear. Now that she thought about it, she would probably think about this other her too. The other Ginny seemed to be confused...which led to her being confused as Cho Chang was mentioned as their girlfriend.

"Cho Chang? She is a headcase though...not many knew about me and Katie at first either. But news is getting around school. We aren't really all that exclusive either...I have quite a few physical relationships on the side going on, and Katie is dating some Slytherin girl."

Sitting there, she stared at her feet on the coffee table. The seed had been planted for her to start thinking about Cho Chang, so she did. What would it be like to look up between those porcelain thighs and see the Asian face staring back at her in orgasmic bliss?

"I've never done anything with Cho...oh wait, that orgy with Lavender. But we never touched each other. I think...anyways. I guess we are different in ways...didn't see that coming. Who else have you done things with?" she asked, turning to the other Ginny.

Ginny laughed. "It's true," she conceded. Since things had happened with Cho in the locker room, she had found herself fantasizing about a lot of different people. Some of those fantasies had even come true!

"Cho is a headcase?" She must have misunderstood, Cho wasn't a headcase at all. "I do that too." Who had her other self fooled around with? "There was this one time that Demelza and I were being cheeky and she was being a bit of a brat…so I grabbed her and started spanking her…"

She grinned at the other redhead. "After a while, she was moaning and her knickers were wet. We snuck off to the loo and fooled around."

"Wait…" Ginny looked shocked. "You had sex with Lavender Brown?!" She didn't look disgusted, just totally shocked.

Ginny shrugged, for she had no idea what was going on with Cho, she didn't even know the older girl. It wasn't any of her business, was it? Gasping as she heard Demelza's name, she gaped at her other self in horror.

"Demelza Robins? But she is a pyscho! She hurt and abused Lavender. She is as bad as Draco."

The other Ginny seemed as shocked by her choice as well. If she knew Lavender, then she wouldn't be. Laughing, Ginny had to fan herself as she recalled all the things her and Lav had done together.

"More then once. I hated her at first, but the sex was so fantastic that we overcame our differences. We have been shagging like rabbits ever since. She is so good. Mmm...then there has been Parvati, Padma...Luna of course...both of Katie's little sisters..."

Ginny's eyebrow went up. It was true that after Cedric's death that she had a bit of a hard time but she wasn't like that. She was sensitive but had a good head on her shoulders. Plus, if Ginny had her family, she wouldn't be doing nearly as well as Cho.

"Demelza? No, she is harmless. She'd never hurt anyone. She's been our roommate for years!" What was going on? Ginny looked at her other self curiously. "And, she would never have anything to do with Lavender like that. She isn't Demelza's type at all!"

"Is it possible that things are…different?" she inquired.

Ginny blinked. "You've been busy!" she laughed madly. Not that Ginny hadn’t been very busy. "Lavender…wow. I never would have guessed. I like her well enough I just didn't think she would be anything special there…"

Ginny said all this like she expected the other Ginny to know. She was still clinging to their being the same person. If they were both Ginny, they would know everything about each other, right?

"Different? Well a little...I guess. But how can that be?"

It was times like these that she wished Hermione was still around. She could sort out what was going on better then Ginny could. Pondering the problem, she kept looking at the room itself.

"If we are involved, it is going to be special. We are that good," she intoned, grinning at herself. "Hey...you didn't come in the way I did, maybe that means something? If we are both Ginny and we are both basically the same...then..." that was as far as her thinking got before her brainpower was stretched to it's limit.

"Professor? Animagus?" Clearly some things were different. But how? Maybe it was like the mirror Harry told her about. This room showed you what things might be like? She wished Hermione was around. Hermione would have been able to figure it out.

"Harry told you about the Mirror of Erised, right? Maybe it is something like that. It shows us ourselves but…different?" Did that mean one of them wasn't real? If so, Ginny knew it wasn't her!

"True," she conceded again with another laugh. "But, some people are still better than others. Like Luna. We just click in a way that I haven't with other people except Cho."

"Yeah...Demelza was seeing Professor Bree Grimshaw and it ended abruptly. She went crazy after that, I guess. She was really mean to Lavender during the orgy then...abused her. She turned into a male panther and..."

It was too horrible to voice out loud, so Ginny demonstrated what happened with her hands. Forefinger through the circle of forefinger and thumb of her other hand. Listening to her other self pick up the thread of her thoughts, she considered what Harry had told her about the mirror he had found.

"He did, but what he saw was only a image in a mirror. Neither of us are in a mirror. Besides, if I wanted to see myself as a person that wasn't me, then she would be naked. You aren't naked...yet," she ended up flirting. "Maybe we are thinking about this wrong. Instead of figuring out what is going on, maybe we should look for something here to explain it? There might be a book or something around here that will tell us what this room is."

It was her best suggestion, and way better then making her brain hurt trying to figure it out. Nodding in sad agreement with the other Ginny, Luna had been the one she was closest to besides Katie. Hermione never understood her, or didn't care to. Selfish git.

"It is nice to know how wicked I am. Some people if they meant themselves would think, 'Oh! I'm horrible and not that pretty!' Not in this case. I am the greatest! I'd shag myself too, Merlin I am gorgeous. I mean you are. Well...you know what I mean."

Ginny gasped. "How terrible! Is she…all right?" Clearly the Demelza that her other self knew was nothing like the Demelza that was one of her best friends. Deciding it was too unpleasant to think about, she was anxious to drop it.

Rubbing her head, the topic was hurting Ginny's head too. "Maybe." Standing up, she began to look around. There were a few books scattered on shelves. As she explored, she kept looking at her other self in the mirror as if it might give her some insight into what was going on. Instead, she found herself thinking how hot she was despite her resemblance to Bill.

"Well, you aren't naked either. So, clearly, it isn't just what we wanted to find," she flirted back. Wasn't it weird to be flirting with herself? Maybe but Ginny wasn't a prude. She could flirt with whoever she wanted, taboo or otherwise!

"I know what you mean," she agreed with a laugh. "I wish I had your nose though. It is like mum's. Cute…like a button!"

Winking at the other redhead, Ginny was slow to rise. She had enjoyed watching herself get up. Nice arse! Licking her lips, she reluctantly got up and began to search too. Most of the books were very old, but she began to detect a weird pattern. There were always two or more of each book, each copy slightly different then the other. She wasn't sure what to make of that...except it matched their situation. None of the books were about the room they were in that she saw, though.

"We could make it be what we want to find," she suggested, with an appraising look at her double's body.

She knew if Katie was here she would be wigging out seeing her flirt with herself. But why not? This was a opportunity too good to pass up. Forgetting about her search, she stopped to stare at her other self. Eye fucking the other girl basically, she could feel a familiar warming in her body.

"I think anything important would be stored upstairs, don't you? In case anyone who blunders in here would just take a look and leave...have the serioys stuff somewhere else for the brillant ones like us."

“Well, that’s good to hear!” Ginny agreed readily. She had to laugh, but she could see that being important to her too.

Ginny cast a look over her shoulder at Ginny’s suggestion. It certainly wasn’t a bad idea but she knew if a girl agreed to that so readily that it would hardly be as much fun. So, she was the one who would need to play hard to get.

“Upstairs?” Ginny smirked at her other self. She knew they only thing they were likely to find upstairs was beds. Not that it’d be a bad thing for them to find… Ginny shrugged. “I guess we can try that.” She got ready to follow.

Ginny grinned as her other self agreed to go upstairs. There would be only one thing up there she imagined...beds! Having wanted to follow the other redhead up and be bad, she found that she was waiting on her to go up. Disappointed, she started up the stairs.

"Be careful," she warned.

With every surface covered by mirrors, it made going up stairs rather disorienting. The staircase ended abruptly at a single door which was actually wood, unlike the rest of the room. Turning the knob and opening it, it actually was a dorm room. There were six canopied beds in the room, but only one trunk. Heading to the trunk, she saw it had no lock. Flipping the lid open, she found extra blankets and sheets inside...and a sheet of parchment. Picking up the parchment, she read it before handing it to the other Ginny.

"It says this is a bridge between alternate universes. The rest is a warning about how it shouldn't be misused, blah, blah," Ginny told her other self, reaching out to caress her leg.

The mirrors everywhere were really disorienting. Ginny had to look down at her feet on the stairs to make sure she didn’t get dizzy and take a tumble down the stairs. That really would impede their fun!

Once inside, she was shocked to see so many beds. What were all the beds for? Taking the note, she would have done the exact same thing; read it and handed it off. It seemed like it was her that would need to be responsible.

She took time to read the letter, mostly. However, the hand on her leg was distracting. Moving over to one of the beds, Ginny sat down letting her skirt rise up a little. “Aren’t we looking for clues?” she mused airly.

"Hello? We are each other's best clues."

Climbing onto the bed, Ginny straddled the other girl's lap. Placing her hands on either side of her other self's neck, it was an intimate place to put them. Grinning as she leaned her face towards the other Ginny, she stopped short of kissing her.

"I have a challenge for you. A game, really. Let us see what we can get up to with our hands linked...so no hands...no kissing on the lips, and no going under clothes or removing them. Are you up to the challenge?"

Ginny laughed and shrugged. "How silly of me." She tossed the letter aside. It probably didn't say anything important anyways! The paper floated to the ground as the other girl got into her lap.

She felt her heart start to beat faster. Merlin, if Hermione or Harry knew about this their heads would explode! Ginny didn't care though, it's not like they were every going to find out. Besides, what could go wrong?

"I like games," Ginny replied. Threading her fingers with Ginny's she held their hands in front of her. "Isn't it a little unfair? Aren't you in a better position?" It wasn't really true, Ginny already had a plan but she needed to trick her other self into it…
